Bhagya joined in early 2018 and has been our all-rounder ever since. She lends her hard work tending to the soil, harvesting the crops, handling the cows and growing food in the vegetable garden with Meena.

She is no-nonsense and fearless even when one of the bulls gets loose and is charging around the farm.

Bhagya is a divorcee who raised 2 daughters on her own and incurred huge debts marrying them (a complicated social issue). She has no land nor formal education which forces her to work as a day laborer, making half the daily wage of a man. Despite her many hardships, she rarely complains and continues to hold that lovely smile.
