ABOUT THE COURSE

Regenerative agroforestry is an approach to ecological restoration which uses natural forests as guides to create ecologically stable and socio-economically productive landscapes. These complex land-management systems intentionally use agriculture with tree systems integrated with animals to create holistic ecosystems that mimic nature, minimise external inputs while building resilient and productive landscapes that foster many ecological functions. These systems aim to build soil, enhance biodiversity, conserve water and topsoil while producing food. These integrated systems are financially more viable and can help mitigate climate change assuring yields and livelihoods.

In this 4-day residential workshop you will learn from our experiences the principles and concepts as well as various strategies and tools of Agroforestry and Permaculture to get you started on your journey.
